I didn't give it a lot of thought, because I didn't want to drill too many
holes through these 2 x 2 members, though thinking about it, some holes at
the centreline would have been acceptable, as they're well away from the
point of maximum stress.

Elevator cables
elevator cables
i have real design question
i saw a rebel once where the attachment points ( on the main control tube )
for the two elevator cables was moved further out buy bolting a 1/8" plate
to the existing cable attach brackets, this was done to get more up elevator
on his rebel, and it did give more travel when tested
i can do this on mine but am wondering if it is worth doing ???
any comments

Elevator cables
Is there a specific location on the FUS-36 bulkhead for the elevator top cable to go through?
I have checked all the man and cannot find anything that gives instruction for this.
I'm ready to mount the control horn cc-68 and continue with the cable location along with the control rods for the elevators.
Any help out there?
Thanks confused in Mi.
Dave
