Mike,
I had the opportunity to go for a flight and fly the SeaRey. A few years ago while in Florida I stopped into their building facilities. The plane is a great little go anywhere unit, the new hull sticks to the water like a magnet. It was great to land in the water, then put the gear down and brought her right up onto the beach. Just too bad you can
Do you want this big green box to go away? Well here's how...

Thanks for the comments Jeff, I'm a long way off from finishing my Moose,
especially with the complete lack of progress this winter... but when it is
done I'd like to have a small "fun fly" airplane just for putzing around in.
I've actually thought about building a Murphy Maverick next... it just looks
like it would be so much fun bouncing off sand bars in that little thing!

The Maverick.... fun little plane. Spent most of my recent hours flying in one. If your an average size person it's fine, if not.. just bring a close freind with you (little tight for shoulder room). I personally still prefer the Rebel.
