I'm here at work and do not have the data for something I am trying to figure
out. Can anyone tell me the span of the horizontal stab?
Thanks
Jim!

Hope that helps!

Gotta be close as I don't worry about the elevator tips hitting the swim
ladder as it is just narrower than the float spread when up against the dock
and that's ~ 115". I'll measure for you shortly so you know...and if it's
shop space you are worried about each side comes off seperate and is a 5
minute job to remove/install.

Rebel: Horiz stab span
Thanks guys. I thought it was over 100" and that is too wide for my garage
door, however, you make a great point. I can put them on, setup my control
cabling and leave them on untill I have to move it out of the garage. I am
putting up a building in a month that will allow me to completly assemble the
aircraft before breaking it down to take to the airport. I can work on it until
then.
(Of course the building is going to be for my truck, and tools and stuff,
right....?)
grin...

Rebel: Horiz stab span
Hi Jim !
You don't have to worry about getting it through a door - the
Rebel stab was designed to FOLD ! Just undo the struts, loosen
the bolts, and swing the sides up against the vertical fin ...
put a bungee around to hold it, and roll it inside.

Thanks for that tid bit Bob. I did not know that! That will allow me to work
on the tail section outside while I get everything attached and then roll it in
and put it back in place! Cool!
I have enough room in the garage to unfold the tail and then work on the
controls.
I'll do it!

You also have to unbolt the push pull tube from the elevator horn before
"folding".
