The 1/2" spacer CC-54 that holds the torque tube laterally is drawn in the
diagram 8.26.1 in section 8.26, but it is not mentioned in the associated
text.
I had a question about the rivet size needed to hold it steady as larger
holes than required would weaken the torque tube.

There is no load on the spacer so the fastener is not critical.
Just before you need to ask :-)Use RV-1410 or RV-1414, in fact you could even use an all aluminum pop
rivet of the correct length.
