Float Moose demo

Post by Bob Patterson » Sat Feb 18, 2012 11:24 am

Hi Brian !

If you, and any other folks interested in the Moose, want to see
one in action, Rob's Moose (as seen at S n F and OSH) will be flying
to the big float plane fly-in at Greenville, Maine THIS WEEKEND !!

(Not sure - isn't Moosehead the lake they go to ????)

Jim,

I would rather have been flying! I fly mostly with a friend on the lake
now
in a PA-12.

Will you be working on the plane in this area? Feel free to ping me off
line.

Lol! Funny, you should see his composite Jets in the other room!

What area do you fly in Maine? I have some property on a pond near
Moosehead
Lake.

Town called Monson.

Yup! I'm pretty sure I'll be at the fly-in! Perhaps only for a day!
Moosehead is the lake! Whose Moose is Rob's??? Is that the original MAM
Moose demonstrator?

Float Moose demo

Post by Bob Patterson » Sat Feb 18, 2012 11:24 am

It's the white Moose, with blue & red rim, and a fancy 'glass panel'
that Rob was kind enough to let Murphy use for their booth at the shows.
It won a Bronze Lindy award at OSH - there's a pic of it on Montana amphibs,
on the Murphy web site. Robin & Colleen from the factory will be there
with Rob, showing it off. They'll only be there for the weekend, though.
It <is> for sale .... :-)
