Adapting Floats

How hard is it to adapt off-the-shelf floats to a Super Rebel? I keep
seeing pretty nice deals on floats in Fairbanks and Anchorage but I know
nothing about floats. For instance, there is a set of PK-3500 floats and
rigging for a C-206 for sale in the paper. Do you end up scrapping the
rigging and starting from scratch or can you use most of it? Is it worth it
(time and money) to pay for something like Montana floats with rigging
designed for a Super Rebel rather than try to convert?
