pitot tube

that's the same one I've seen as well Ken! Attaches to the leading edge.
Ordered one from MAM ~ 2 years ago to repair Bernie's D's first wreck.

Hmmm - have they switched to the one that Spruce sells. Mine (from MAM)
is about a foot long piece of 3/4" tubing welded to a flange that wraps
around the leading edge. I removed it when I installed Angus's drooped
leading edge.

JEAN
It's apiece of 3/16" ID aluminum tubing that's aprox 10 3/4" long with a
90
deg. bend at 4 1/4" and a mounting plate at 1 1/2" down the 6 1/2" side
to
screw to the wing bottom.

Pitot Tube

Post by Craig Walls » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:47 pm

Hi all,

I sent this out last week and didn't get any replies. Thought I'd try
again. I'm looking for suggestions for a heated pitot. I'm getting close
to the point where I need to be building it in. Thanks a bunch. CW
