hi all

so assuming a day vfr rebel with gps and radio, maybe transponder are most
people using 60 amp alternator ?
also why do some alternators have internal regulators while others are
external, good bad reasons ??

I recommend the smallest alternator you can get. 30 amps will even drive
a well equipped IFR machine.
An external regulator is better for overvoltage control but I'm using
internal because it was cheaper and I have one.
You may want to talk to Niagra Airparts (I think that's right) for an
economical 0-320 alternator kit.
