Hi all,
I'm looking at mating the elevator to the stab and notice the hinges don't line up well. What happens is the holes in each hinge half don't line up very well with its mate and when putting a bolt through the hole it goes sideways. I'll never get the bolts in like this. If I drill it out to make it square I will end up with an oval shaped hole. What have other done here? How about drilling out to the next size.......with a free hand drill? Depending on the hours I fly this thing or how quick the bolt holes wear out I may bush it at that time.
Thanks,
Mike Betti
