Insurance - Moose on Amphibs

Greetings Murphy Pilots (Canada)

Interesting insurance numbers - full in motion hull coverage with 1
million per seat liability and hanger coverage - went to COPA/Marsh
Lloyds at 2.8% on amphibs. Others tried but end the end COPA was the
only one who could provide the insurance in motion.

FYI - Insured Pilots Aprox 200 hours on type with 1000 hours total each.

2.8 % for inflight?? Heck of a deal Ryan considering that their Silver wings
program for tie down only is 2.1% of value and you get a 15% discount when
over $100,000 value.

I sure wouldn't ask them twice if they have the right number...as it usually
works out to 5 or 6% of value for inflight coverage these days!
