Dear friends,
What has your experience been in receiving parts from MAM to accomplish the
service bulletin on the elevator horn attachment medification? I thought I
had read somewhere here that MAM were sending this out free, but it could
have been a mirage. They nicked me for $10 US for the two EL-454 angles;
nothing else was included in the parts list on the S.B. (e.g., EL-452,
EL-453), which I guess we're supposed to find in the scraps box.
Appreciate hearing your experiences before contacting them again. By the
way, getting this shipped was something of an ordeal; and U.S. customers
will be glad to know that personal social security numbers are being put on
the shipping label for all the world to see.

Hi Jeffery
We just requested & received the package with the complete parts kit as per the
SB, 'course we have not received the nose gear yoke that we requested in the
same note.....let's hope it was too heavy for the SB package and is coming by
other means. It is the last missing piece from our original kit buy.
This business of your SSN is getting to be a pain for shipping to the US.
Where I used to work we were having to either include that or a business tax
No. of some sort. Caused all kinds of problems with the customers. I don't
know if it the regulation to put it on the outside of the package though, seems
wrong to me.
I think you need to go back to MAM and ask what gives on the shipment, it
doesn't seem right that they would send you just those pieces & charge $.
Cheers,
Dave
