When I get the place cleaned up and a few docks built (next year) Bob
we'll
have to tease these Western guys with a "Temagami Bay" version of how to
go
fly-in fishing...without the salt!!

Lake Trout/Smallmouth Bass/Walleye and Northern Pike.... in crystal
clear
water that has you pulling your motor up.... thinking you're going to
hit
bottom when you're in 10 feet of water!!

Lets start planning, like Summer 2006, your right on 20 hours (and a few
liters of gas). Sound like a great trip.

Wayne G. O'Shea

Echo Bay/ Lake Temagami

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:27 am

2006 is probably a good idea. This coming summer will be hectic fixing the
place up and putting in some decent new dockage on the North side where it's
sheltered. Two airplanes would be the limit right now with current dockage,
to a maximum of three if I get Howard's airlift from him......that he will
no longer require.

Cheers,
Wayne

Echo Bay/ Lake Temagami

Post by rebel » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:27 am

Hmmm, 2006 might work for me, too. Might be a good time for Bob P. to
organize another cross continent Ramble to get there and back. Used to fish
as a kid in northern Manitoba for big pike and walleye. Hard to beat the
taste of fresh caught walleye.
