I don't know of a specific product for cleaning the bug poop, try simple
green, or test an area with one of the citrus base products. But try this link for
bug problems. He may have what you need to keep them out of the hanger.ant
control, Ant Control, Armadillo Control, armadillo control, badger control,
Bugspray.com I think.
