There might be an "aircraft" equivalent for the amphib
tires, but the Chinese ones thay use are 'industrial', I believe.
I used to be able to buy them at a good price at Oshkosh, from
.. I think the name was ... Barry Jay Enterprises - a small booth
in one of the buildings. I think the company has new management,
and may not stock these anymore, though ... They were slightly
cheaper than Murphy, but I bought them because thay were there,
on display, and I wanted a spare ! One thing to watch out for,
though is that Chin Cheng (or whatever !) makes the same size
tire in only TWO PLY !!! Might be OK for lift trucks, but
not recommended for more than ONE landing on amphibs !! ;-)
Be sure to get 4 or, ideally, 8 Ply.
I would recommend to anybody on amphibs to get a spare
main tire & tube and nose tire & tube, just so you have them.
Actually, I usually order 2 sets at a time from Murphy, so
I can change them when they are getting worn, often one at a
time, a year apart... and still have a spare.
I never flew cross country without at least carrying the
tubes - you could get stranded somewhere inconvenient otherwise ! ;-)
The McKenzie STOL kit would be a worthwhile project - it
sure softens up my landings ! Dave Fife's wing tips helped my
takeoffs too - always important on amphibs. .... sounds like I
need all the help I can get - and I do !! ;-) :-) :-)

Bobp,
Yea, those spare tubes can be a problem to find! My plane might still be at
Arlington getting rusty if you hadn't been there.
Are the amphib tubes and tires real aircraft supply or domestic stuff, like
the golf cart spring gear tire and tubes I can pick up locally?
I'm still envious of your McKinzie STOL kit. That might be next winters
project.
