Does anyone know the manf or part number or have any clear pics of the
plastic cable guides?

I'm looking but can't find anything yet.

I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm wrong but RU-1 seems to be a
number I remember.

You guys have any idea if it's delrin/nylon 66/teflon or uhmw?
I have blocks of those and I can just knock out the few I need
if I was sure what they were.

Hi Dave

The guide blocks are nylon. You can get them from Murphy or save the shipping
and just go to the hobby shop as the new ones that Murphy sells say DU-BRO on
the bottom. They are used to mount the landing gear on model airplanes. If
you have a kit older than one year you will find the mounting holes are
futher apart than the new ones.

David, I never bothered to burn one to sniff it, but with 20 years plastic
experience sight tells me they're Nylon 66.

Cheers, Wayne

Thanks Sean (and Wayne)

I kept thinking they were nylon cable clamps.
37 cents each local or $1.62 from MAM. Look at
the piture of the Dubro catalog and thats them.
Nylon landing gear straps 1/8 or 3/16

Had a look at the dubro website http://www.dubro.com/DU-BRO/index.htm and
the gear "straps" at 1.05/set of 4 are not what you want. These have an open
"bottom" side (so aren't going to hold the cable up off the mounting
surface). The landing gear "blocks" pt #156 are the ones you'd want with a
true hole and gusset reinforcements. These are a whopping $2.10US/ set of
two. $1.05 each x 1.34 = $1.41each Cdn so MAM's not to far off for
handling/inventory costs for an extra 13%.

Definitely easier to walk into a local RC store and see what they have in
their parts rack though...since you don't need the bolts that they ship with
each set from Dubro!
