Jean,
I recall seeing the word "ream" in MAM used as in "ream the holes out with a
#11 drill". I don't know how general this is, but it seems MAM simply means
that if the holes were started as a smaller hole to get better position
accuracy, reaming really means to open it up to it's final diameter, and
possibly doing this in small drill size increments to avoid wobbled holes,
but not necessarily done with a reamer. I'll double check my MAM on this
tonight.
As for Proseal, I recently ordered the version of it sold by
vansaircraft.com. It looks like Proseal, ...and smells, feels, tastes like
it :) ...and it is almost 1/2 the cost I've seen for Proseal at typical
suppliers. An option at least -- just go to their online catelog and search
on proseal.

Hello...
Do you know where I can find ProSeal in Eastern Canada (Ontario or Quebec)?
Do have info on the products: Manufacturer, part number, size
available, mil spec, etc.
On the first parts to be fabricate on the wing, manual say to drill 5/32" and then use a rimer to go to 3/16". Standard 3/16" reamer for machinist that Acklands sale for $18.00 is ok? Do you use them in a drill or by hand?....

Jean, what are they referring to that needs to be reamed??
There isn't much that needs that kind of precision on the Rebel. If it's a
bolt hole drill it #12 for a nice tight fit and if a rivet #11 is fine
(solid rivet you might need #10 if it's a deep hole but this only applies
building the SR).

Giday, Jean. Here is a link to a product similar to Proseal. I sloshed my glass tank two years
ago with Por-15 and it seems to work fine. Available in Montreal too.
I am not stating that it is equal to or better than Proseal as I have never used Proseal.

PS890 B2 is the spec for what Murphy supplied me with and the one that
Aircraft Spruce sells.
1422 B2 might be slightly preferable for mogas and I think Leavens sells
that one. There should be some info in the archives from around August
2000. In the past Bob has said that the cheapest place to get the stuff
was from Murphy?? It doesn't matter who manufactures it as long as it
meets the spec. There must be some Montreal suppliers because the
airlines use the stuff and maybe Bombardier as well.
I also have had good results with imported 0.001" undersize reamers in a
battery drill. Mine were only about $7. or $8. each from KBC tools. 3/16
and 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 (all .001 undersize) is all I've needed and I'm
not certain I've used the 5/16 one. I used them for wing bolts, strut
fittings, stabilzer attach bolts, landing gear hinge bolts, and things
where I wanted a tight fit. I just used a drill bit on things like the
wing spar laminations where I don't expect any movement.
