Yeah, I guess even with 4 blades, he should still be about 20
pounds lighter than the Sensenich as long as he doesn't use that
harmonic balancer. If he likes the Warp 4 blader on the 150 hp,
he would like the 3 blader even better.
I am using the 74 X 54 Sensenich right now. While not quite as
good in climb and cruise as the Warp, I think my take-offs are
slightly faster. That's because the Sensenich turns 2500 on
take-off while my Warp only did 2450. However, after lift off,
the Warp would turn 2600 in climb while the Sensenich only did
2550. My Warp would also redline over 2700 at that pitch setting,
and had to throttle back a bit at the top end. The Sensenich just
hits 2700 at full throttle straight and level.
Too bad Warp doesn't make an 82 inch 2 blader! I guess they would
need to engineer a humongous hub and clamping set-up with all
that inertia.
180 hp on a Rebel, heh? Must be pretty good performance!

Hi again,he has a Sensenich 74x56 now and finds that
slow,another freind of
ours has a 4 blade WARP on 150hp with full lotus on
his Rebel and he
cruises a little faster than him.He figures the warp
will be way lighter
than his Sensenich,I have no idea the weight diff.
Also he has flown my
Rebel with 180 hp. and 4 blades and seemed to like it.

I assume that is Warp's recommendation now to avoid
the cracking.
The 180 hp would require 4 blades just to absorb all
the hp. I do
know there were some on this list that were
switching out their
Warps because of the cracking fears, so maybe
someone here might
still have one for sale. Also, if he's going to a 4
blade Warp, I
would expect the efficiency to drop a little, and
with the extra
blade, you're getting closer to the weight of a 2 blade metal
Sensenich. With hauling those Full Lotus floats out
of the water,
he might want to try a Borer.
