OK so I called murphy and got the lowdown. It turns out I screwed up and
followed the manual. The ribs that go over the hinge doublers should actually be
reversed from the drawings and put behind the doublers. There is not much I can
do since I have one entire side drilled and cleco'd. I will just not use the
factory holes in the ribs with the doublers and end up drilling them to larger
rivits to cover the holes. SO if anyone else is working on the elevator
switch the ribs around behind the doublers(like murphy does in the fastbuilds) not
how they tell everyone else to do it.
