Must be a different airplane entirely as Ron's is flyable with the trim to
either extreme. The elevator is rigged for more up and more down than the
book also but we already covered this one. Definitely need a pull type
breaker handy though.
Al have you tried it in yours?

Steve,
I have not done a specific test but have taken off with the wrong trim
setting. The controls get heavy but not over powering.
I have the trim (elevator and rudder) and autopilot on the same circuit with
a switch breaker, works as the kill switch.

Hi Warren !

That was the caution I was given .... and it applied to ALL of
the factory Supers and the Moose. Just passing it along, and I'm glad
to hear that most builders are incorporating some kind of easily-
accessible 'kill' switch or pull-out circuit breaker. Just don't
hesitate to pull it if in doubt - you won't have long !!

While I didn't try to fly any of them with full trim deflection,
I can imagine that you wouldn't be able to hold it off for very long if
it did go to full travel - that's a very powerful trim.

Also, be careful about button layout on the stick - there were
a few exciting moments when trim was hit instead of mike PTT on short
final - also when the right-seat pilot hit it accidentally with a camera !
I would never suggest putting the trim tab on the stick for ANY
Murphy kit except the SR/Moose - it certainly is NOT needed there
for the Rebel, as the trim is very seldom ever changed !!

This is just a heads-up - I have not personally ever heard of
one of the MAC servos going runaway - but, it <could> happen !
