Landing Lamp Connection

Post by David Ricker » Sat Feb 18, 2012 8:52 am

Hi

We don't have the bulbs yet, can anybody tell me the size of the screw that is
used to connect the 4509 landing lamp bulb wiring?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Wayne

Thanks for interrupting for a moment, hard to believe there isn't any info on
the manufacturers web sites or Aircraft Spruce about this either.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave,
I went out and pulled one from the stock room and found it has an 8-32 X
1/4 inch brass plated steel screw with a head that accepts a Phillips or a
normal slotted head screw driver.

Landing Lamp Connection

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sat Feb 18, 2012 8:52 am

Now Now Dave! I can still see out of one eye and hear out of the opposite
ear! Just haven't looked at a "proper" wing bulb in a VERY long time (since
I got rid of my C182 in 1995!) as it's been all halogen driving lights ever
since (with never needing to replace one yet in 8+ years.... as opposed to
every couple months with my 182!).
