Steve,

Do you have one or two heat muffs on your exhaust?

Bruce!

These test's covered a number of small item's to update & complete the
seaplane supplement to my pilot operation's hand book along with two major
item's
the oil cooler and the propeller pitch control motor operation's at very
low
temp's

As for the cabin temp, it was just fine ( about +10 deg C ) except for the
frost forming on the inside of the cabin windows.

Steve W

I am using a Hartzell HC-C2YF-1BF propeller with 7663-4 blades. This is a 72"
dia two blade SQ tip variable pitch unit with the low pitch stop set to
allow the engine to reach it's 2800 rpm red line at takeoff.

I am very happy with the performance this propeller provides.

Bruce!

I am using a 4to1 exhaust system into a central 6" by 18" long muffler. The
whole muffler is wraped with a heat shroud and is ducted direct to the cabin.
There is no carb heat!
