Man gave us .040 "L" reinforcement to put into the fin spar cap for the full
length. Seeing as this holds and locates the tail wheel and will take a lot
of abuse, would it be advisable to remake the "L's" out of .060 mat'l to beef
up this area???? I have the mat'l to be able to do this or is this OVER KILL.

Fin Reinforcement
Fin Reinforcement
I've got a buddy who's recent'y bought a Cessna 180, that he's putting
together. Having completed my Moose fast-build tail stuff, I was anxious to
have a look at the rear of the 180 to compare. Lo and behold; nothing in
the back of the Cessna looks any more stout than the Moose. As a matter of
fact, I've developed more confidence in the Moose since eyeballing the 180.
Mine was done exactly per MAM's instructions.
