with rivnuts or some kind of anchor nuts with screws.
However, in my case, by the time I got to attaching my
wing tips, I decided I had sufficient practice and
skills at drilling out rivets, so I just went the quick
and easy route, and riveted them on. So far no regrets.

Subject: wing tip attach
Hello All
What is the best way to install wing tips?
Of course I have already drilled
all the holes as shown for riveting.I've
also got wingtip lights which may
require removing the tips at some point in
time.Should I use self tapping
screws? To rivet floating riv nuts would be
a big job, clip nuts may work for
one wing but the flange on the other is the
wrong way.
Advise me please.
Thanks
Murray
