Now, a side note to that is the Brackett p/n I had is BA-4106 and it crossed to a Cessna 152. That was attached to the carb air/heat box sent to me by MAM. I'm wondering if that was just a little undersized for my 0-320.
The K+N filters in the Spruce Cat. are for the Longeze's(I looked there too)and a couple of other exp types
I"m guessing if you have an odd carb box with some dimensions they still may be able to help
Hope that's a help for everyone. Keep at it it's worth it.

The BA-4106 is correct for most of the engines we are dealing with Curt.
Guess these guys at Challenger were smart enough to tie up K&N for an
existing or to mould a new filter and get it STC'd!! Good for them! What is
the part # on your package Curt (thought I saw you post that before) and
maybe there is a cheaper way to obtain this for a non-certified aircraft!
ACS on line catalague is now listing Pipers/172's etc for filters but there
is no information in reference to the Cessna styles to make sure you are
ordering the right one to fit your carb heat box/filter assembly.

Hey Bob,
I seem to have overlooked the p/n thing, but I just wanted to say again
that it is NOT just the element. It is an entire assembly. You take you're
brackett filter box and element and throw them away. (or send them to Wayne if he
want's them). Then install the new assembly.
That's why it's important to have you're brackett p/n ( not the element
number) when calling them.
I will get the p/n that applies to the previous mentioned brackett
number.
In the meantime, this is my only daughters wedding weekend and I've got
to stay home and keep the feet of 2 women (wife and daughter) on the ground.
For some reason I will not be allowed to go to the splash-in on Ostego Lk
either. :)
I'll be in touch Curt N97MR
