Post by Bob Patterson » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:08 pm

Hey Everybody !!

It's time for a Fly-In/Drive-In Builder Visit !! This Saturday,
June 7th, starting at 12 noon, at Tally-Ho Field, just east of Alliston.

Come see Jim Cole's Moose under construction, and check out
this great fly-in spot for future Rebel gatherings !

It's a nice, smooth grass strip, about 2,000 ft, roughly E-W,
sloping uphill gently to the East. Clear approaches, lots of parking
space, and a roomy hangar. Wind sock near the center, on the north side.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 7th - 12 Noon - Tally-ho BBQ. - (Tally-ho Industries owns the property
etc.)

Jim will have the soft drinks, burgers and some sausage - and Anna
& I will be there with coffee & donuts. There will be a couple of
wing walkers to help pilots to the parking area.

the co-ordinates again are:

44.13N and 79.47W

Com - 123.2 - Tally-ho Field (unofficial - the same as Alliston in an old FS)

705-458-9669 (Hangar)
Email: Jim Cole <jcole@rangroup.com>

Fly in if you can - and the weather's good, .....

OR come by road:
================

the right past 27 which is the 8th Line and go North through the first stop sign
(#5

Next Builder Visit - Sat. June 7th

Post by Jim Cole » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:08 pm

It may be too late but I forgot to mention that Cookstown is having a 'WingDing" all
weekend. The whole town is a garage sale. Might be a good side trip for those that
don't want to talk airplanes all day!

Next Builder Visit - Sat. June 7th

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:08 pm

I have posted three pics to "Brampton Meetings" in the archives of todays
visit to Jim Coles "Tally Ho aerodrome" to look at Jim and his brother
Terry's work thus far on their Moose kit.

It was also a great excuse to get together and shoot the sh#(, as well as
putting in a bit of flight time to get there in my case as well as Bob
Johnson's and Hugh as well. Ralph Baker wins the long distance honours
showing up on his BMW motorbike from the USA!

The brothers are doing >GREAT< work, with nice clean skins and riveting!
