Subject: Russian Exhaust
The following things have been brought to my attention concerning
the
russian exhaust for the M-14 radial. 1) built from .035 304
stainless that i
have been told won't hold up for very long, heat will deteriorate
it fast 2)
Is not designed for our Murphy cowl and does not fit the exhaust
outlets
moulded into the cowl 3) Not near enough heat produced from the
heat muff
for cabin heat in northern conditions. Can anyone confirm or
negate any of
the above potential problems. Should it be built from 301
stainless ?
