Whelen Strobe Connectors

Post by Mike Kimball » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:56 pm

If it's stamped on the connector I can look when I get home and get back to
you.

By the way, I have the Whelen strobe installation kit from Aircraft Spruce
for a remote power supply and tip strobes (wire for both wings and the
connectors) that I won't be using because I changed my mind and will be
using the Aeroflash system with tip mounted power supplies. If anyone is
interested in the Whelen remote mount installation kit I'd part with it for
$40 and I'll pay shipping (slow boat not Fed Ex). I paid $58 from Aircraft
Spruce.

Does anyone know the standard AMP part number for the connectors on the
Whelen strobes. I know it is made by AMP, but can't find it in my catalog.

Whelen Strobe Connectors

Post by Rickhm at home » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:56 pm

Mike,

The connector is stamped on one edge with AMP and the other with CPC-3 (3
conductor connector?) I looked on the AMP page and got no where. They
have a CPC line, but it is circular connector line. I also checked a few
electronic supply houses and got no where. Let me know if you find
something. I sent Whelen an email asking for the part number, but I'm not
real hopeful.

Rick
