weigh scale

Post by Roger M Jewell » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:53 pm

I bought a digital kitchen scale in the cooking section of a one-stop
shopping type store. Wasn't too expensive and has nice features to zero
out the weight of the mixing container, sticks, etc.

Hmmm clicking on that link may not work if it shows up in your
mail with all of it underlined ...it seems to strip the
underline off including the underscore between the Bal_Beam.
Guess i better change that to just BalBeam.jpg

klehman

weigh scale

Post by klehman » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:53 pm

For Proseal, if you add 5 gm of hardener to 50 gm of base then you may
wish to make sure the scale has 0.1 gm of resolution. The cheap units
that I looked at only had 1gm resolution which is 20% of 5 gm.
I worked alone but I seem to recall mixing a bunch of small 35 to 50 gm
batches which saved a lot of wastage.

Rickhm at home

weigh scale

Post by Rickhm at home » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:53 pm

Wow, I don't recall. I do remember it was with the electric can openers,
blenders, etc. It has been 2 years. It was intended to weigh food. They
had some spring type scales and the fancy digital one I bought. They did
have a limited selection.... 3-8 models, so it would be easy to walk by.
Ask the greeter with the O2 bottle :-)
