Midland Ski Flin - Postponed to Feb 15 at this point

Well, it looks like everyone can go back to bed. Snowing pretty good and the
winds are supposed to get up to 50K later. Snow squall warning out until mid
morning as well.

We will try again for next Saturday Feb 15th, 2003.

Same time, same place (unless we have to move the venue back to Mud Lake),
same "bat channel" .Will keep you informed via this medium.

..SNOWSQUALLS CONTINUING UNTIL MID MORNING..

THIS IS A WARNING THAT SNOWSQUALLS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN
THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED
STATEMENTS.


A NORTHWESTERLY FLOW OVER LAKE HURON AND GEORGIAN BAY WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
BANDS OF SNOWSQUALLS INTO BRUCE GREY AND SIMCOE COUNTIES.

THE SNOWSQUALLS WILL WEAKEN TO FLURRIES BY MID MORNING AS A WEAK RIDGE OF
HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE NORTH.

LOCAL NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES FROM BLOWING SNOW AND HEAVY SNOW ASSOCIATED
WITH THE SNOWSQUALLS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. TRAVELLERS
ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS UP TO
15 CENTIMETRES CAN BE EXPECTED IN HEAVY BANDS OF SNOWSQUALLS.

15 to 25 cm. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h gusting to 50 km/h this
morning. Visibility reduced in blowing snow. High minus 8.
Tonight..Flurries. Wind southwest 30 km/h diminishing around midnight. Low
minus 14.
Monday..Flurries heavy at times
