Angle of Attack by Proprietary Software

All,

Does anyone have any experience with the Angle of Attack indicators from
Propietary Software Inc.(PSI)? (Web site at: www.angle-of-attack.com)

The owner of the company tells me there are at least ten Moose builders
installing the units in their planes, but PSI does not give out customer names.

I'd be especially interested in comments from pilots who have flown behind one
of the units.

On other fronts, we are still having fun flying our SR. Have done the aileron
spade modification and are just finishing the flap strengthing modification.
Still working to improve the engine cooling and will be installing Montana
straight floats this Spring.

It is not a good idea to trade with a company that makes claims that can not
be backed up by references. A company should ask customers for testimonials
and if it is OK that the testimonial be verified. Most satisfied builders
will be more than happy to say "yeah man, it's great" if it is satisfactory
but a company with a not so satisfactory producr fears the " Don't touch
that snake. It will bite you".
There are good AOA units on the market, Shop around.

in the wing. Wish we could tell you more.

You mentioned that you are just finishing the flap strenghtening
modification - what flap modification?

Peter, go to MAM's site and in Tech there had been an Urgent SB out for the
flaps since Novemeber 11th, 2002. You two been vacationing or what!:>))))

Need a double bolt in the flap horn attachment to the flap. If you haven't
closed your flaps yet you can install another anchor nut and if you have I
guess do as instructed and cut a hole for access to the nut.
