Super Rebel tailwheel angle

I know I've touched on this before, but I'm really concerned about the
tailwheel angle. I believe at least one builder mentioned that he is on the
lowermost attach point for the stinger which would certainly help, but it
also lowers the tail quite a bit to collect more rocks and such off the
mains. I suppose there's no way to add a bit of a bend in the the stinger,
where the casting attaches, to straighten up the tailwheel? Did no other
Super Rebel builder have this problem? Or did all the completed kits end up
on the lowermost attach point, versus the second one down from the top as
recommended by MAM?

Mike,
Are you on the SR2500 gear legs and 8.00 tires? If so, you may not need to
go to the lowest hole in the bracket. Keep in mind with fuel and passengers
and a little bounce along the runway the stinger will flex and bend to
correct position. What appears as an issue now may not be later. In 44
hours, all on turf with a few gravel spots I have not seen any rock chip
damage. On my C172 I have lots of dings on the leading edge of the
horizontal stab and elevator, so I know the rocks are there. Also remember,
when you are going fast enough to kick up rocks the tail is up and it comes
up fast on takeoff.
