Multi Function Display
Multi Function Display
You can check out pcflightsystems.com. They have a system that uses a compac PDA. We had them develop the same system for our Yaks, but with a panel mount display. I plan to use one in my SR. It is a 3.5 in high and 5 in wide color display that is sunlight readable. It has the EFIS display for horizon as well as a remote magnetic sensor for heading info. IT has pitot and static inputs and displays speed and altitude tapes. The three axis electronic gyros are fully aerobatic and drive the EFIS display. It looks like the whole system with display will sell for around $3,500. They are working on a second display for the GPS system. T will have the same size display and will have a moving map with terrain info.
