I'm about to start this as well. I got ACS p/n 05-00951 for this purpose.
What may be even more helpful is that I spent several hours going through
the archives for info on windshield installation just a couple days ago. I
copied and pasted things I thought were significant to a text file, which is
available on my web site, at http://n254mr.com/node/860 I've been meaning
to edit it, and will, but thought I should get it up now, for those who may
be reading this thread. It's userful now, and I'll try to clean it up and/or
organize it a little in the next couple of days.
My compilation from the archives on this topic is by no means a complete
description of everything. People use different names for the same thing,
and opinions vary. Read the whole thing before settling on any one course of
action. I hope it helps a little, or at least saves some time poring over
the archives.

Hi all
Mounting the windshield calls for a" 4511 rubber bumper" for the
bottom of the windshield.I do not have one and was wondering if anyone
knew if aircraft spruce might have what I need .I don't know really
what it would look like.I'm assuming a channel that would cover the
bottom edge ?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks
