Hi,
This my first post although I've been reading along for some time.
I am building a Rebel in northern New Jersey and would like to contact
anyone in my area building a Rebel. My e-mail is apoulsen@comcast.net
My question for today concerns the leading edge skin on the stab. I
appears that both ends have to be trimmed yet there is no mention of
this in the manual. Since I'm trying to duplicate someone else's design
I don't want to just wing it (no pun intended) I'd appreciate knowing
what others have done here.
Thanks in advance.

Rebel stab leading edge skin
Hi Allen
All I really remember is trimming the outboard end to match the outboard
rib. However my inboard end does end at the root rib. Later after
mounting the stabilizer, you make a fairing to close the couple of inch
space to the fuselage. It is not particularly unusual that all the
details are not spelled out in the manual. A lot of reading ahead is
necessary sometimes.

Hi Ken,
Thanks, I was expecting a little more guidance than the manual seems to
provide. As a newbie I really didn't know what to expect.

Rebel stab leading edge skin
Hi Allen:
I'm pretty close to buying a almost complete Rebel from a guy in Allentown,
PA. I am from New Holland, PA so if you like, after I get it, you are
welcome to stop by and look at, take pictures of anything that you like.
I would say that I am < 1.5 hour drive from Trenton.
Jim!
