G'day
My Rebel is nearing completion, and I am going to get the factory supplied identification plate engraved today.
Just where is a good place to fix the plate to the Rebel?
Thanks and regards
Ian Donaldson

Hi Ian !
The U.S. laws call for the plate to go on the outside,
where it can be easily seen - most mount them on the fuselage
side, below the stabilizer. In Canada, they've recently changed,
and I think they can be inside, as long as they're visible from
outside (and legible). That means door posts, or near the back window,
somehow. This prevents passers-by from easily defacing the plate ...
Does your government have a preferred position ??

G'day Bob
Thanks for your reply.
We don't have any legislation regarding the placement of the plate. All they
say is that it must be firmly
attached and made out of "fireproof" material.
I wanted to display it, but not to ostentatiously!
regards
Ian
