I got new sticks for mine from MAM which have the extra curve, and works
great.

For those who have moved the firewall back for the larger engines, is the
stick okay in its present form or does it need to be rebent? Thanks, Craig

[rebel-builders] Control Stick Question

Post by craig » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:24 pm

Thanks, Walter. Don't think I want to buy anything from them that I don't
absolutely have to. It's hard to brag about a $10.000 kit if you keep
ordering new parts! And I've ordered plenty! Can you give me an idea of
the new shape? I guessing that it's just another little whoopty-doo
(technical term) near the top.

Anyone found anything else in the control stick construction that bears
mention? Not too much in the archives on it; some good photos.

Craig

[rebel-builders] Control Stick Question

Shape was the same, just bigger curves. Can't remember the exact
measurements, but probably 3 inches back. Height stayed the same, although I
think I shortened a bit off my stick, top and bottom, so that I get full
movement without hitting the panel. You could probably do it yourself with
the right bending tools, but a lot easier to get new ones.
