Bill, even though you bought the 6 bay tank option, the wing skin is
probably still full size so you have to cut it anyhow. If you are committing
to 5 bays per side I would shear the .040 tank skin down by the 11 15/16
(approx) to suit so it's easier sealing the tank with the wings skin off.
Before doing any shearing....Remember you want those tanks skins hanging off
the root rib by 1/2" to 5/8" for attaching the wing/fus fairings and off the
outboard tank rib enough for the tank skin/wing skin overlap per the manual.

main rib to outer stn 7 and the overlap of the tank skin will be on an
outer dry stn 8,does it matter about the tank skin overlapping out side
the fuel cell area??
