cabin floor Fus-39 and Fus-40 to bulkheads

Post by bransom » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:11 pm

I've been on the forward fuselage, a bit sporadically (sigh). I've only
clecoed so far -- no rivits -- and have sides (Fus 24, 25, 26), root ribs
(Fus-27) clecoed to bulkheads and/or carry-throughs Fus-3,4. It's time to
put in some rivets. But in all this and looking ahead I can't see anything
on where the bottom skins get drilled or riveted to the bulkheads forward
of Bulkhead F. Is that supposed to be done in the brief (1 page, section
12.15) general description of the double floor install? At least at this
point is it fine to drill and rivet the bottom but stopping short of the
Fus-5 carry-through?

I'm assuming to use a 1" rivet pitch along the floor skins (39 and40) into
the bulkheads. ?

Thanks in adv,
-Ben, 496R
