Does your friend plan to register the Kitfox as an ultralight OR as a G.A. / Experimental aircraft ?
If he wants to go ultralight - he will have to contact "R.A.Aus" .....
(it USED to be called the Australian Ultralight Federation (AUF) - but after lots of bad press - they reckoned that by taking the word "ultralight" out of their name - then they would get less of a hammering by the media ...... "a rose by any other name" leaps to mind !)
RAAus are based in Canberra - their web page is located at http://www.auf.asn.au/
If he wants to register the plane as a / in the "normal Experimental category / as a G.A. aircraft" - then he needs to talk to the S.A.A.A. - (Sports Aircraft Association of Australia)
Their head office is in Melbourne - & their web page is located at http://www.saaa.com/
Either way - these guys will help him get what he needs !

Australia from Canada. He has just shipped his Kitfox by container and I

what the registration process will be for a Canadian Registered Aircraft in

wing it. I think it's registered here as an experimental.
