Engine cowling

Post by Craig Walls » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:01 pm

In the user group under 'rebel/files/float installations" there's a pic at
the bottom labeled "float steps.howard"

Is that a Murphy cowling or some aftermarket company? I like it a lot!
Very streamlined and slick-looking. Anyone know anything?

BTW, I put trailing edges on all four ailerons today. Ready for the next
step. Thanks to all who chimed in regarding the leading edge height.

When my wife and I built our house and shop, there were definitely good days
and bad ones. On the good ones you saw a visual difference or finished
something. On the bad ones you either redid something, broke something, or
spent money you didn't expect to. I have a feeling that building our rebel
will be very similar.

This was a good day. :-) Craig R207
