If you have not yet begun to cut your lower tank skins and make doubler
plates yet I can offer you a couple, already made up.The .032 doubler is
square 7 3/4"OD and 5"ID with 16 1" spaced #10 anchor nuts, each with 2
counter-sunk, solid rivets. The cover plate I used is 6" square with
rounded corners .040.
Anyway I made 6 of these and only used 2 to solve my leak access problem.I
installed these in the centre of the inboard tank bay.

Mike, Bob J. Had a leak that he suspected was at a stringer in the top skin
area. Was contemplating sloshing or cutting an access hole to fix. Original
