I have a few cracks on mine, and the drilled stops kept them from spreading.

Subject: [rebel-builders] Windshield Crack
What does one do about a crack in the windshield. A couple of days ago
taking off from the water I hit a boat wake and it cracked my windshield at
the bottom for about 5 inches. It doesn't affect vizability so is drilling a
stop
hole at the end of the crack good enough or should it be replaced. Flew
home fine after it cracked with no issues. I also had to tighten my cables a
few turns after landing
