Cherokee cowl on a Rebel?

Anyone thought about, or tried this? I got my engine from a Cherokee guy who
suggested the cowl and exhaust might work also. Obviously the length
wouldn't be right, and would need to be trimmed to fit, but the shape seems
about right other than the Rebels flat-top instrument panel. It seems like
with some modification you should be able to use the top and bottom spine,
nose bowl and doors, air box, exhaust and even the spinner. I haven't had a
chance yet to do an up-close survey, but I will be out at the airport this
week, and I will then.
