Moose Aileron Tip Support

Post by Ted Waltman » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:00 pm

Hello Bob,

I think that bearing was an optional support that someone came up with. I
don't think there's a service bulletin on it. You might check Scott
Aldrich's site at www.goflyamoose.com and look under completions to see if
there are any pictures of this modification.

I had seen on the Murphy site (before it was changed) a bearing support
added on the wing tip rib to support the outboard end of the aileron spade:
Can anyone advise if this is necessary or was this before the wing tip hinge
support modification. Thanks. Bob J Moose 226 (RH wing almost complete)
