Thanks everybody !

I'm sure that all that feedback will be used !! Some
of you helped with GREAT insights into WHY certain things
should be on the site ! Stimulated some thinking !! :-)

If Norm, and lots of others, send in 2 or 3 pictures,
and 2 or 3 paragraphs about building progress, or flying
fun, I would sure hope they will be used over the next
few months !

Your thoughts on the site ARE very important - you
know what works for YOU, and have a pretty good idea
what is needed to attract new builders, as well as support
& encourage present builders. That 'encouragement'
factor IS necessary and important - and often overlooked !!
.... and you're right ! It DOES also pull in new customers !

Definitely sounds like a searchable builders list is a
high priority. As someone pointed out, the present list
is incomplete & out-of-date.... That's one reason it
isn't there --- yet ! They are working on cleaning it up,
but really need current info....

Would you fill in a form to update it - if it were on the site ??
Maybe we could have a space for comments & pics to add to it too ....
and a link address to your builders site, as well as your email address.
Anything else you'd like to see/know about other builders ???
Should the builder info be open to all, or would you be happier
if a kit serial number and password were needed ?? Or maybe
some open & some not ???

Airshows & coming events will be added soon, I'm sure, once
display booth positions are confirmed.

Suspect first priority will be to get everything ON and
working properly - then all those great suggestions
for adding 'sizzle' can be followed up. Great idea to have a
'links' page to other sites with videos, as well as other
builder's sites ! It's really hard to balance having a sexy,
lively site with action, and the need for small size for dial-up
users. I know there are a LOT more dial-up users out there
than most folks realize - and it's not by choice !! There are
too many areas where high-speed is still unavailable !
What do you think about having a choice of high-speed (DSL)
or dial-up - - on the start page ??? At least that would
make the start page useful ! ;-) Is it worth the extra
programming ???

Please keep the ideas and suggestions coming - post them
here so others can add to them. Then maybe forward them to
Joel .... along with your photos. :-) We're all here because
we love the Murphy kits - so we should all be able to help
them provide the best web site for us, and new builders.
