Hi Mike !

You're not alone with that problem ! Here's a thread

First thing is to be sure the intercom is on ALL, not ISOLATE,
or PILOT .... There IS an adjuster on the radio - small hole on
top to access....

Turned out to be the side tone adjustment was down to 0. Adjustment through
hole in top of radio. Works good now.
