[rebel-builders] Visors

No suppliers, but maybe you could make your own ...
I would use a faily large piece of tinted Lexan - maybe
about 2'x 1' - just round the edges & corners - maybe
use the mount & rod from an automotive visor ...

It's good to have tinted visors that you can see through -
don't want to miss anything out there (like a 747 ...) ! ;-)

We've had good luck with those thin tinted film automotive
'patches' that stick on with just static - just unroll &
stick where needed ! (Very handy on the skylights ...)

I also been looking for a sun visor setup of some sort for this project.
Anyone know where I can find some other than those several hunded dollar ones
in ACS?
Thanks,

Rosen makes a whole line of visors for airplanes. The're on the Brasilias I
fly at work, and I noticed they are on the new Cessnas. They are probably
pricey too, but very slick.

Mike:

I got a couple of Rosen ones at Oshkosh. A bit pricey, but not "hundreds of
dollars". I secured them to the top 2 x 1 with 10-32 nutserts.
