[rebel-builders] Nicopress Sleeves ?

Post by Tim Hickey » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:30 am

Not to be butting in on this issue, but is not this the kind of question
that might/should be directed to Murphy? It would seem that they could
confirm the cable material, and the sleeve composition.

[rebel-builders] Nicopress Sleeves ?

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:30 am

Murphy has been shipping stainless cable and plain copper nico's since 1992
to my knowledge and probably before that as well. I know 'cause I've been
around them the whole time. There's only one person at MAM that you'll find
in the same boat and that's Darryl himself. I think they're a tad busy as
well...I'm getting countless emails saying "nobody at Murphy has replied to
requests in a week"..."can you help me".

I have yet to inspect a Rebel/Elite that has had any issues with
corrosion/battery action on this combination on the cables/swags and a
couple aircraft have been coast area birds as well.

Cheers,
Wayne
