1800 Amphib Hydaulic Tank

Dear Builders,

I've decided to fabricate an aluminum tank in place of the plastic reservoir
that came from MAM. (It will allow me to place the tank more conveniently
to the pump.) My question is: has this 1-1/2 quart capacity been adequate
for operations? Would also appreciate your thoughts on a source for simple
vented cap or plug.
