[rebel-builders] Another flapperon question

Hi Jim !

Never seen anybody use plastic washers ! Many run a strip of
fabric tape over the base fabric over the ribs, then rivet with
the large head fabric rivets, and then cover the rivets with a
final strip of pinked edge fabric. All of these strips are,
of course, soaked in Polyfiber and allowed to dry before
continuing. :-)

DO bend the sharp edges of rib flanges down slightly so
they aren't cutting into the fabric. Maybe cover sharp spots
with fabric patches or just tape before final covering,
if you can't round them.

Go ahead & give it a shot - worst that can happen is you'll
have to peel off some burnt fabric & try again !! ;-)

Get it flying - it'll never be finished !!! :-)
